Masoud Atyabi

Seyyed Masoud Atyabi (* 1. Oktober 1964) ist ein iranischer Regisseur und Produzent. Er gilt als einflussreicher Filmemacher des iranischen Wirtschaftskinos. Seine ersten Filme behandelten moralische und religiöse Themen, später wandte er sich Komödien zu, die trotz hoher Verkaufszahlen von Kritikern eher negativ aufgenommen wurden. Er begann seine Filmkarriere 1985 mit Dreharbeiten an Kriegsfronten und produzierte 1989 den Film „Die Braut von Halabja“. Er arbeitete außerdem an den Filmen „Texas Eins, Zwei und Drei“ und „Dynamo Movie“ mit der Film Vision Company.
